Camané and Mário Laginha have worked together on many occasions, including various concerts. The excellent understanding developed in these sporadic collaborations has now resulted in the inevitable strengthening of this symbiosis. “Aqui Está-Sossegado” (Here things are calm) is a new project designed to highlight the vocal and piano skills that have been accompanied by many other musicians since their first joint stage performance. The concert will feature about 24 songs from Camané’s traditional fado repertoire and will also include unpublished songs composed by Mário Laginha, who has already written a song to a poem by Álvaro de Campos, “Ai Margarida”, which Camané performed in one of his most recent records.
