QUARTA 2 JUNHO, 19H30
Fora de Campo
Inspired by the universe of “A Doll’s House”, by the Norwegian playwright, Henrik Ibsen, Off-screen recovers the mechanisms of the most common television series, to talk about power and emancipation. On stage, a film set is preparing to record the pilot episode of a new series. It is very hot! The narrative melts, diluted between the collective illusion and the dream, in order to capture the viewer’s attention across various fields of action. On stage, the character knows that if he doesn’t create empathy and doesn’t convince us, he will die. The actor knows that the standardised structure, in which he is inserted, redefines and oppresses him. The viewer will realise that he is watching several overlapping fields of action, which tend to manipulate him.
