The main Cultural venue in Guimarães since 2005. The main hub of A Oficina’s activity, that hosts the majority of festivals and regular programming throughout the year – including contemporary and international events, with a focus on new creations. Includes two auditoriums used for stage plays and contemporary dance performances, a Café Concerto, which hosts musical performances, and magnificent gardens, giving new life to the old estate of the 18th century palace, the Palácio Vila Flor.
The Centro Cultural Vila Flor (CCVF) is a cultural venue, in regular operation with its own project, with a regional, national and international geographical scope, whose mission is to co-create, programme and produce cultural activities in the field of the performing arts, as a public service activity. Its programme is very comprehensive and diversified and permanently works with various artistic disciplines, open to very plural aesthetic lines.
