A creative writing and illustration class based on Edward Lear’s “Book of Nonsense”, a collection of very short stories, in verse, that observes a very specific structure, even though the results are quite absurd. Let’s begin by reading a few, and understand what a limerick is, and the rules that it obeys, and then writing our own nonsense story. At the end, we will put all these verses about peculiar characters and situations together and will illustrate them.
