After a seven-year hiatus, the album “Vida Nova” (New Life) marks the return of the former lead singer of the bands, Ornatos Violeta, Pluto, Foge Foge Bandido and Supernada. The singer has already released four singles from the album - “Ainda Não Acabei” (I haven’t finished yet), "Beija-Flor" (Flower-kiss), “Cães e Ossos” (Dogs and Bones) and “O Navio Dela” (Her Ship). With lyrics, music and image by Manel Cruz, the album consists of 12 songs and is accompanied by a book whose content complements the artistic work. “Vida Nova” was primarily composed on the ukulele and results from his desire to return to the studio and perform on stage after a creative hiatus. This is a return to origins that pleased Manel Cruz, who finally performed at the CCVF's Grand Auditorium in a long-awaited concert.
