Mallu Magalhães is returning to the stage with “Esperança”, her fifth studio album, recorded prior to the pandemic, which finally sees the light of day at a time when her maturity and plenitude in composition make her one of the biggest talents from the universe of Brazilian popular music.

Produced by Mario Caldato Jr., the renowned producer of names such as Beastie Boys and Jack Johnson, “Esperança” includes songs written in Portuguese, Spanish and English, which combine all of Mallu Magalhães’ references - from jazz, blues and tropicália to surf rock. Spectators can discover all this first hand, on the second night of Manta 2021.
