With a title like this, it might seem like we’re talking about the past – but it’s really the future that concerns us. On a weekend when many of us will be gathered in the south for the Portuguese Performing Arts Platform meeting, we want to open up the debate in the north, in the wake of another festival that brings to the stage several young voices from across the country – some more established and renowned, others just beginning a journey we hope will be as long as it is rich.
