TOSHIIB4
"TOSHiiB4", winner of the 8th Amélia Rey Colaço Grant, is a creation that moves between non-fiction and fantasy, proposing an empirical re-examination of sexuality in the digital age. By transforming the stage into a bedroom, the creator and two friends, together with the audience, explore a space of sexual self-determination through their computer, seeking to reflect on childhood and adolescence, as well as on the obscurity of certain narratives within conventional sexual education.
TOSHiiB4 brings together three friends working through sexual, identity, and technological trauma, carefully navigating the boundaries between the public and the private. It deliberately seeks to open itself to an intergenerational audience that is more willing to challenge their beliefs than their sense of modesty.
