FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 10:30 PM
Leo Middea (Brazil)
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Leo Middea has established himself as one of the brightest and most prolific voices in contemporary Brazilian popular music (MPB). With a career marked by independence and international circulation, the singer-songwriter also gained significant recognition among Portuguese audiences following his acclaimed appearance as a finalist at the 2024 Festival da Canção with the song “Doce Mistério”.
He now presents his seventh studio album, titled Notícias de Puglia. This work functions as a travel diary and a natural extension of his intense life on the road. Over the past two years, the songs came to life in a nomadic and spontaneous way, written between journeys, dressing rooms, and hotel rooms. It is the direct result of an impressive body of work spanning more than 300 concerts across 16 countries, consolidating his identity as a global citizen who sings in Portuguese.
More than a geographical record of an artist in constant motion, Notícias de Puglia reveals itself as an album of deep emotional commitment. In it, Leo Middea slows down the pace of the external world to embark on a search for inner freedom and a vital reconnection with his Rio de Janeiro roots. Blending bossa nova, acoustic pop, and tropical rhythms with his European experience, the album stands as a warm celebration of affection and an open invitation to feel life and love without reservation.

Corleone Jr DJ set
Curated by Oub’lá
Yin from Botafogo, Corleone Jr moves comfortably through the seven realms of the musical orishas. He explores multiple worlds, from MPB to disco, from funaná to zouk, weaving grooves from all geographies. In truth, what he enjoys most is jumping from wave to wave—preferably with an open shirt, track after track.
