Miguel Meirinhos (b. 1998) is a Porto-based pianist and a resident member of the Matosinhos Jazz Orchestra, with which he has participated in the recording of three albums. His musical training began in 2002 at the “Bando de Gambozinos” school and subsequently included studies at the Porto Conservatory of Music and ESMAE, where he graduated in Jazz Performance. Meirinhos has developed a significant professional career alongside established musicians such as Joana Raquel, Mário Barreiros, and André Fernandes, and regularly performs at several of Portugal’s most prestigious jazz festivals.

Now based in Celorico da Beira, Joana BC (b. 1986, Porto) is an artist who studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and the Slade School of Fine Art in London. Her work encompasses painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, and textiles. Since 2008, Joana BC has regularly exhibited her work and taken part in artistic residencies both in Portugal and abroad. She is currently developing a doctoral thesis on the relationship between Surrealism and Tarot.

Duarte Ventura is a Lisbon-based vibraphonist whose work spans the fields of jazz and improvised music. Trained at the Coimbra Conservatory and the Lisbon School of Music, Ventura has had the opportunity throughout his professional career to collaborate with prominent musicians from the Portuguese and international jazz scenes, including Peter Evans, John O’Gallagher, Pedro Melo Alves, João Barradas, and Demian Cabaud, among others, and is currently a member of several ensembles as a sideman. Alongside his collaborative work, the vibraphonist co-leads several groups and has released one album under his own name to date, Blurred Image (2026).

Originally from Guarda, where he began his musical studies, and now based in Porto, where he is completing his higher education at ESMAE, Gonçalo Ribeiro (b. 1998) is a drummer who, despite his young age, has already established an interesting presence on the Portuguese jazz scene. An occasional collaborator with the Matosinhos Jazz Orchestra and the Espinho Jazz Orchestra, Ribeiro has in recent years been a member of several groups led by guitarist AP, as well as the Pedro Molina Quarteto and the Eixo do Jazz Ensemble. He has also collaborated with internationally renowned musicians such as Seamus Blake and Billy Martin, among others.

Roger Kintopf is a German double bassist and composer whose work focuses on musical dialogue between distinct musical worlds, as well as between composition and improvisation. Following higher education in music at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, Kintopf has led the ensemble STRUCTURE since 2016, with which he has released five recordings to date. He also maintains a significant solo practice, alongside a collaborative career that has led him to establish creative relationships with several prominent figures from the contemporary European music scene.
