Through his consistently creative career, both as a bandleader and in collaboration with numerous leading figures in contemporary jazz such as Chris Speed, Brian Blade, and Paul Motian, among many others, Kurt Rosenwinkel has long been an artist whose presence at Guimarães Jazz was overdue. For this concert, the guitarist will perform with a quintet featuring an outstanding line-up of musicians: Aaron Goldberg, Seamus Blake, Joe Martin, and Kendrick Scott.
