Pianist and composer Lex Korten grew up in New York and pursued his academic studies at the University of Michigan, where he was mentored by major jazz figures including Geri Allen, Robert Hurst, and Benny Green. After returning to his native city, Korten began his professional career as a musician and, in 2018, was recruited to join the sextet Unfiltered, led by drummer Tyshawn Sorey. He recorded and performed live with the group for the following four years, consolidating his reputation on the jazz circuit. Since then, the pianist has taken part in numerous collaborations with acclaimed musicians such as Melissa Aldana, Jaleel Shaw, Clarence Penn, and John Ellis, among others, as well as with members of the emerging generation that came to prominence in the second decade of the twenty-first century, including Milena Casado, Ben Tiberio, Alex Hitchcock, and Dave Adewumi. Among the projects led by Lex Korten is the quintet Canopy, the ensemble with which he recorded his debut album as a bandleader in 2025.

Nicola Caminiti is an award-winning Italian saxophonist, composer, and arranger who, despite his relative youth, has already established an impressive track record on the professional jazz circuit. Over the past decade, Caminiti has had the opportunity to work creatively with prominent figures in contemporary jazz such as Seamus Blake, Gilad Hekselman, and Dayna Stephens. Although currently based in New York, he remains active on the Italian music scene as a member of ensembles led by Italian musicians including Emanuele Primavera and Michelangelo Scandroglio.

German-Argentine vocalist and composer Sabeth Pérez began her musical career at an exceptionally young age, starting to collaborate with the WDR Big Band at the age of thirteen, an ensemble with which she maintains a creative relationship to this day. Over the years, Pérez has collaborated with other prestigious orchestras, including the Frankfurt Radio Big Band and the EOS Chamber Orchestra, among other ensembles, and has worked with several prominent figures in contemporary jazz such as Ingrid Jensen and Theo Bleckmann. As a recording artist, Sabeth Pérez has released one album to date, Searching for Beauty (2025), to be followed by La Adivina, scheduled for release in 2027, on which the vocalist will be accompanied by the WDR Big Band.

Adam Olszewski is a double bassist who studied at the University of Michigan, where he had the opportunity to perform with major jazz figures such as Jimmy Cobb, Conrad Herwig, and Rufus Reid. He is currently studying at the prestigious Juilliard School. His professional career to date includes performing with the big band led by Christian McBride and collaborating with saxophonist Jason Hainsworth on the project Third Ward Stories, which marked the double bassist’s recording debut in 2016. Alongside his work as a sideman, Olszewski leads his own sextet, with which he recorded the album Songs for Six (2020).

Born in New York, drummer Miguel Russell grew up in the US state of Florida, where he began his musical studies before pursuing higher education at the Manhattan School of Music under the mentorship of Kendrick Scott. Despite his young age, Russell has already built an impressive recording career, with eight albums released over the past two years, as well as collaborations with several major figures in contemporary jazz, including Wynton Marsalis and Paquito D’Rivera. He is also currently a member of the trio led by pianist Jahari Stampley.
